Question by Sweetness: Where can I take an accredited online accounting course?
I am a college graduate, however lack in the area of accounting or budget management experience. I am a stay home mom living in a rural area. Any ideas of accredited online sources to just take specific classes in one area? I really don?t want a whole degree in accounting to just get some practical knowledge that I can apply in a work settting. Any help is appreciated.

Most DL folk point to Louisiana State University for online courses in accounting. The price is outstanding and name recognition is solid. They do require proctored exams for some classes but are reasonable in proctor selection.
