What type of lawyer is this? | Dallas Criminal Attorney

Question by Missy Elliott Jr.: What type of lawyer is this?
I wanna be a lawyer but i have no clue as to what kind and im tryna find a college that can help me to get a jump start as to what i wanna be. Ok, so i wanna be one of those lawyers that are on law and order, not the defense attorneys who are defending the ?criminal?, but the plaintiff. So, what are they called, i mean, are they considered public defenders or what? And if not, what are they called, and do they work for the state or something? Please help i need some type of guidance as to what im getting myself into. And if there?s any additional info on the subject please let me know.

thanx
Oh, and i have been hearing that once graduating from college that it is hard to find a job as a lawyer because theres alot of competition, so if there is any other suggestions as to what i should do as another major that still has some of the my same interests, as this type of lawyer i have described above, it would be a great help. I want to be able to get a good job after graduating form college and to get a good one while still in it.
