In Year 12 ? need advice on careers? | topmarketingplan.info

Question by Frankie H: In Year 12 ? need advice on careers?
I always thought from a young age that i wanted to be a writer. I loved writing (creative sense as well as others). When it came to year 9 options and careers advice i was thinking lots more about media. I wanted to write newspapers, magazines etc.

I?ve just started Year 12. For GCSE i got an A in language but a D in literature. I?m taking lang/lit combined for A level. But recently i?ve started going ?off? it. I still enjoy it, i?m just not sure if its something i would be interested in as a job. I?m not as good at it as i used to be?

However, i took GCSE product design and loved it. Its my fav subject and ive taken it for A level. I?m starting to think of something towards this as a career but the problem is.. i havn?t taken art. I didn?t take it for GCSE and i havn?t taken it for A level. Does this means my dream of doing something in the design business are shattered? No one is going to hire a designer with no art qualification?

Thanks for any advice you can give. X

work in a field that you love?i.e., if you love to garden, work with plants; if you love children, do daycare; if you like caring for people, do nursing. But be aware that with all ?careers?, there are people with bad attitudes, and who are annoyers, but if you?re gonna work, do what you like doing!
