Like every other family with girls their age, we struggle with certain questions.... When do I need to start wearing deodorant, or a bra?? When we started going through the magazine together, we found the answers to? those questions. The magazine also includes an "Ask Ali"? section to answer questions sent in by readers. This provided a great opportunity to open a discussion with my girls.? I would ask them how they would respond to the question asked, or if they were in that situation.???????????????????? I was never much into watching tv? as a child, either.?? They like to get ideas from other girls &? tips on the new coolest books to read.? As a mother, I love Discovery Girls magazine and the? book set,? because it helps teach my kids, the tools needed to stand up and be proud of who they are as individuals.? The clothing and language is age appropriate.??
